My Photo Gallery is up next and this is a hobby I am not professional, most of
these photo’s were taken by my cell phone. I hope to get a nice camera sometime in the future.
Autumn – This is one of the most beautiful times of the year when all the leaves start to change colors. I have gotten a few photographs and hope with each new year I can get better and more colorful photo’s.
Winter – I hate winter. Its cold and you have to shovel snow, its slippery and icy. But winter brings a white beauty that blankets the landscape with ice and snow and there is something magical about it. Makes everyone slow down just a bit, something like natures way of saying slow down take a breath.
Spring – A new beginning. Most people see Jan 1 as the new beginning, I don’t. I see spring a season as a new beginning, all of nature coming to life. To see the leaves sprouting, the flowers budding, and the birds chirping. Everything seems right in the world even for a small moment. I will be gathering more photo’s each spring to show life blooming.
Summer – My favorite time of year besides Christmas and Halloween. I love the warm air, Nature has blossomed and is out in full force, camping, swimming, going to the beach. Summer by far is the best time to go places and do things, such as getting great photo’s.
Structures – Structures can be a variety of things. I myself have a thing for
covered bridges and old churches. The architect of these structures intrigues me. I like the old stuff for sure. I plan to add more to this page as time goes on with many different structures that have a history to them.
Insects – They are creepy and crawly but have you ever just gotten close enough to really see the beauty that can be there? I know some bugs there is no beauty but they do make the world go round. I try my best to get as close to them as possible even though I may get bitten. The close shot is where you need to be to show that insects can be beautiful.
Nature – When I am out in the middle of nature with my tent I have a real sense of calming. I feel my best when out in the woods, I feel it when I am camping. So many things to look at, see, feel when you are one with nature. If I ever get the chance to move to the country I will be.
Unusuals – Just as it sounds really. I look at something and think what a neat photo this will be and then take the shot. A lot of times when I go over my photos I see that the pic is not just what I am looking for. I take up to 10 photos of one thing just to make sure I get the perfect shot, toss the other 9. But the Unsuals are a fun way to express myself.
Funky Photos – A collection of pictures that I have jazzed up a bit by modifying the colors, and textures. Sometimes looks funky but I like it.
Animals – The other half of nature is animals, I love animals and will add more photos as soon as I am able to. I don’t want to leave the Animal photo page just for pets. I do want to get out there and get some really good shots of animals in their natural habitat.
Misc – I just want to have a misc for photo’s I want to put there, some will not have a page I can add them to so they end up here, or I just want them there.
